Coming in with an Associates Degree (60 transferable units), you can earn a bachelor’s degree in two years and a master’s in one additional year. We call this the 2+1 program.  Alliant also accepts students with 45 or more transferable units.

Welcome to Alliant International University.   Whether you have come to complete your degree in business, psychology, communication, criminal justice, international relations, or liberal studies, all of us here at Alliant look forward to working with you as you pursue your educational goals.  I am especially interested in exploring those goals with you and assisting in any way that I can to make your time with us as rewarding as possible.  Earning your degree at Alliant could be the key to increased employment opportunities and income or one step on a whole new career path. 

Our programs are designed for you, the serious student who is determined to complete your bachelor’s degree in a setting that is supportive, convenient, and understanding of the many competing responsibilities you are apt to face.  We have worked hard to create rigorous programs taught by professionally and academically qualified faculty who blend theory and practical application in all of their courses.

We can assure you that if you come to Alliant with 60 units that transfer into your desired major and if you plan to take 15 units per semester, you can complete your degree in just four semesters or less—with no impacted programs to slow your progress.   Also, our 80% retention rate is an important indication that we must be doing something right!

If you decide that you would like to pursue a graduate degree at Alliant, we offer several seamless pathways to graduate programs in the California School of Psychology, the Marshall Goldsmith School of Management, the Hufstedler School of Education, or the Center for Forensic Studies.  Several of our undergraduate programs offer you the opportunity to take one or more graduate courses while you are still an undergraduate.
